Obama Protects Rep by Banning Muslims from Appearing at Rally and Suddenly Now Decides that Wearing a Flag Pin is a Good Thing

Obama’s advisors disallowed the attendance of a couple Muslims from being on stage at a recent Obama rally because they were too visibly Muslim (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=91658107). Also, just recently, Obama has decided to wear the flag lapel, citing his patriotism in a speech at Independence, MO (http://www.canada.com/topics/news/world/story.html?id=bf9cbfa7-9364-448d-8792-bf93d44e1f0f). While I understand and respect some of the reasons Obama had earlier cited for not wearing the flag lapel, the fact that he has decided to wear it is an obvious reaction to questions regarding his patriotism. I don’t question his patriotism and am not publicly¬†endorsing a candidate in the fall, BUT I find the actions prohibiting Muslims from appearing on stage and the resurrection of the flag lapel to be actions indicative of political expediency and well short of “CHANGE”.
