Yom Kippur is About Jesus

With all due respect to my Jewish friends and readers, I wish to contend that Yom Kippur points to the Messiah, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is the solely sufficient mediator for our sins. While on this high day, when many repent of their sins and seek absolution from Almighty God, that absolution comes not only from God’s grace…but also His justice. His rightful wrath towards all of our sin is absolved completely and totally in the person of Jesus. He is the propitiation for our sins if we would accept and embrace His sacrifice. May your Yom Kippor truly be blessed in the assurance that your sins have indeed been forgiven in the mediator Jesus Christ. May He turn your scarlet sins to white as snow and grant you continual assurance of your salvation in Him!!!
